Hey there, and welcome to the Happily Ever Retired community!
I’m Curt, and the lovely lady in the picture above is my wife and best friend, Shari Lee. We’re not just partners in life, but partners in fun, especially now that we’re both retired and free to fill our days with as much joy and adventure as possible.
We share our time between the sunny beach town of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and the charming town of Blowing Rock, NC, with our two loving goldendoodles, Charlie and Brodie. When we’re not off on our own escapades, we’re enjoying the company of our wonderful family – our four grown kids and nine awesome grandkids (as of July 2024)!
Through our journey, we aim to bring you valuable resources, heartwarming stories, exciting hobbies, and loads of fun activities to keep your days bright and cheerful.
Let’s be real – life is all about the experiences, not the stuff. It’s about family, friends, healthy living, and embracing everything life has to offer. That’s the true recipe for happiness.
So, let’s have a blast together! Let’s make it our mission to fill every day with as much happiness as we can. Sure, life can throw some curveballs, and there will be moments of grief and sadness, but we believe we can still live fully and learn from the tough times.
